RCP's 6.5"BLACK GRIP PAD is designed for the finishing stage, refining your paint to a smooth, glossy surface after compounding and polishing. Made from reticulated polyester foam at 80 PPI with a 1.25" thickness, this black finishing pad gently clears fine haze and light defects without adding cut. Mount it to a compatible grip-pad backing plate and run it at a suggested 1200 to 1750 OPM with your favorite finishing polish for clean, consistent results. Its soft, forgiving foam makes it ideal for that final pass before protection. Paired with the right backing plate, a quality finishing polish, and an Ultra Plush Drying Towel, this pad takes your detailing experience to the next level.
