Begin by applying a small amount of compound in an X-pattern on the pad. Spread it evenly across the surface to ensure the fibers are well-coated. Use a spreader tool if necessary to achieve uniform coverage.

 

**2. Work in Sections:**  

 

Divide the vehicle into manageable sections and focus on one area at a time for consistent results.

 

 

**3. Apply Moderate Pressure:**  

 

Use a steady, moderate amount of pressure during polishing. Avoid pressing too hard, as excessive force can generate heat and potentially damage the paint.

 

**4. Maintain a Slow Arm Speed:**  

 

Move the polisher at a controlled, slower pace. Allow the machine to do the work, which helps prevent over-cutting and minimizes the risk of paint damage.

 

**5. Clean the Pad Frequently:**  

 

Regularly clean the pad by blowing out debris with compressed air. This maintains the pad’s cutting efficiency and prevents clogging.

 

**6. Monitor Heat Levels:**  

 

Be aware that microfiber pads can heat up quickly. Keep an eye on the temperature of the paint and work in a well-ventilated area to avoid overheating and possible damage.
